Jason Bennett is driving his family home after his daughter's field hockey game when a pickup truck begins tailgating them. It cuts them off, then two men jump out and pull guns on Jason, demanding his car. In the chaos of the carjacking, shots are fired, and Jason's daughter is killed. Before the Bennetts can even begin processing their grief, they are visited by two FBI agents, who advise them the carjackers were part of a dangerous drug-trafficking organization and the remaining family members have no choice but to enter the witness protection program. Taken from everyone and everything they know, the Bennetts are unravelling. Then Jason begins to dig behind the FBI's assurances and realizes he has to take matters into his own hands to keep them all alive.
